Good Conversation

At the Route B Barber Shop, Tuesday, Jan. 26, 2010 barber Thomas Knotts better known as “Mac,” left, visits with loyal customer Theodore Baker. Baker stopped in with some oranges and stayed to visit. Mac explained, “People don’t come here for the cut, they come here for the conversation.”
This is probably my favorite image from the barber shop project I did. Again, it does not scream barer shop, but I love the interaction going on between these two men. This shop had so much character. They were not lying when they said people come for the conversation. Baker was not even in for a hair cut, but he stayed the entire time I was there and Mac sat with him and chatted until another customer came in.
